Mostly known under the name NOBLE, Pedro Fidalgo, is a rising artist from Portugal, that will certainly not give up on his stunning journey in the world of music and will continue to impress us with his powerful voice and his personality.
In the upcoming month, he will be sharing his secrets with his fans through his magnificent songs in what will be an unmissable musical experience that will take place on the 27th of May, in the Multiusos de Guimarães, in Portugal.
MUSIC IN HIS VEINS
Since he was in the cradle, he has had the memory of listening to music — a connection that would, later on, be further strengthened and developed through the influence of his family. His grandfather played several instruments, and his father always loved to sing, so the passion for music was present from an early stage of his life.
MUSICAL REFERENCES
Noble recalls how his father listened to the band Dire Straits and their first self-titled album, which included songs such as 'Sultans of Swing', when traveling together. Stating that this exact song was the one that truly had his attention and essentially led to a bigger interest in exploring the field of music, he nevertheless also had other bands and artists that influenced him throughout his musical journey, such as Nirvana, Guns N’ Roses, and notably, Bruce Springsteen, whom he refers to as the one artist that mainly left an impression on him, without any doubt.
FIDALGO IS NOBLE AND VICE VERSA
Noble’s closest friends and family always call him by his last name, Fidalgo. Even though Noble is Portuguese, he opted to sing in English; hence, to give his project a personal note, he thought of translating his last name, Fidalgo, to English and using it as his artistic name. Ultimately, saying that ‘Fidalgo is Noble, and Noble is me'.
PORTUGUESE HEART AND SOUL
While many people do not know that Noble is Portuguese, it is important to mention that he has already done some projects in his mother tongue. He was invited by Antena 1, which is a Portuguese radio station, to pay tribute to one of the most significant voices in the country when celebrating the centenary of the birth of Amália Rodrigues. You can listen to Noble’s version of Amália’s song 'Solidão', as it is available on Spotify. Recently, he was also part of Nuno Guerreiro’s new album, participating in a song called 'Duplo Sentido'. However, these songs in Portuguese are written by other people and sung for other people, that perhaps being the reason why he accepts to sing these particular songs in Portuguese. Thus, it is not in his plans to start singing in Portuguese or edit something under his name in Portuguese in the near future.
LOVE, PASSION, PAIN AND SADNESS
Most of Noble’s inspiration comes mainly from his day-to-day experiences, but sometimes he also happens to write from other people’s perspectives. Nonetheless, he affirms that he prefers to write from a personal point of view, as it makes the process of composing and interpreting songs much easier for him. At heart, he finds his inspiration undoubtedly in occurrences that happen in his personal life.
WHAT IS LOVE?
Despite admitting that it is a difficult question to answer, Noble has a distinct and lovely definition of what love is. When answering our question, he predominantly focuses and elaborates on the idea that love is blindness. Stating that loving someone is about being able to see beyond all their imperfections and flaws and still wanting to be with that one person without leaving them, despite their negative traits. Noble admits that he suffered from heartbreak at least once, mentioning that ‘it is a painful and intense experience that simply permits the creation of good songs’.
HONEY VS BEAUTIFUL
When asking Noble to choose between one of his songs, 'Honey', and 'Beautiful', and why, he rapidly says that he would pick 'Honey', as it was the first song of all and the one that allowed him to reach out to the people. Stating that this special song marked the beginning of his career, allowing him to live incredible and unforgettable experiences and moments. In his words, ‘I would have to choose 'Honey' without thinking twice’.
HONEY VS SECRETS
Asking him to pick between his first and second albums, 'Honey' and 'Secrets', he states that he would choose 'Secrets', the second album, due to all the experience that it involved. In light of this fact, he was able to give the spotlight to five new national talents and voices, allowing them to have their moment to shine too. Noble says that this peculiar experience brought all of them together and that this challenge, that was created with the Portuguese radio station RFM, fundamentally led to the discovery of five wonderful voices.
RFM AND NOBLE
This idea behind the #RFMNobleDuetos challenge came from Noble’s personal life. When we found ourselves in the midst of a pandemic, we all had that sentiment of distraughtness due to the moments of instability. On that account, many of us did not know what to do while locked up at home. It is important to note that the pandemic marked a very difficult time for all artists, as many saw all of their scheduled concerts being cancelled. So, instead of giving up, Noble and his team started to think about a challenge that was launched in partnership with RFM, which eventually resulted in Noble’s second album, 'Secrets', which contains ten tracks, five of which are duets with the #RFMNobleDuetos winning voices.
He says that he has always been very lucky, as many people believed and still believe in his talent and work, providing him with amazing opportunities to show what he’s worth to the public. In essence, the challenge was inspired by what Noble’s journey had been so far and the idea of giving people, in this case, the five girls, that special opportunity and initial help to let them show their talent.
FROM PORTUGAL TO THE WORLD
Recently, Noble had the opportunity to showcase his work in Los Angeles, in the United States of America, which was a wonderful and enriching experience not only for him but also for the band and the team as a whole, since spending a lot of time with people on the road allows you to get to know them even better, and the experience becomes very interesting, as said by Noble. Amazed by the fact that he and his band were able to play there and show what they have to offer people and their music, he thinks that this ‘cool’ trip will bring fruitful results for the team as a whole.

THE GREATER THE SUCCESS, THE GREATER THE FAILURE?
Noble isn’t sure if he sees things that way. For him, the greater the success, the more you have achieved. It means that you reached more people and thus lived more experiences in your life - achievements and memories that will never be taken away from you. Therefore, he sees failure as almost a constant variable in our lives, stating that we are all subject to failure, in whatever area we find ourselves in. But he doesn’t think that there can be a growth relationship, because there’s always the possibility of failing in something; however, everything good that resulted in success, the people that success brought, and the moments one lived from there will never be erased because of a failure.

He considers himself to be stubborn, resilient and maybe intense.
NEW ALBUM, SOON?
Noble is currently working on many songs, but he isn’t sure whether he will put them on an album or if they will be available in some other format.
ANY CONCERTS, SOON?
Well, the artist with the powerful voice has various concerts scheduled. The biggest of them will be taking place soon, on the 27th of May at the Multiusos de Guimarães, and it is a night to which Noble and his team are looking particularly forward. He told us that it will be not only a night of great music, but above all, it will be an outstanding and unforgettable experience, seeing as they even opened a section for the audience, which consists of tables for groups of eight people - a dedicated space to which you can take your friends and family. In addition, there will be tables with sparkling wine and champagne that will permit the audience to see the concert by standing right in front of the stage and have an even more interesting experience of the concert itself.
